Longevity protocols without the hype.

Sermorelin and NAD+ are the two longevity injectables a licensed clinician can prescribe today. What they do, what they do not, and the foundations that outperform both.

Sermorelin

A fragment of growth-hormone-releasing hormone. It prompts your own pituitary to release growth hormone in a pulsatile, physiological pattern, which is why some clinicians prefer it to direct growth hormone. Reported goals include sleep quality, body composition, and recovery. Evidence is modest and mostly older. Compounded sermorelin is not FDA-approved.

NAD+

Levels decline with age, and NAD+ is central to mitochondrial function and DNA repair. Oral precursors (NMN, NR) have the most human data; injectable NAD+ has little. Many NDs start with precursors and lifestyle before considering injections. Compounded NAD+ is not FDA-approved.

The foundation that beats both

VO2 max, muscle mass, sleep regularity, protein adequacy, and metabolic health predict healthspan far better than any peptide. A credible longevity protocol measures those first.
